Camp Grossman Unit Heads ensure the smooth functioning of their assigned units of +/- 90 campers/25 staff. This role can be thought of as akin to a camp director. Unit Heads build strong relationships with staff and campers. They use their role to create a fun, collaborative work dynamic and to resolve issues that occur. The role has strong relationship, administrative and supervisory components. It is a wonderful opportunity for someone with natural leadership who enjoys working in an upbeat, high functioning and youth oriented environment. The Grossman team is a dynamic group which works as a tight team to create wonderful experiences for children while helping them build confidence and skills. Camp Grossman is located on 75 acres of the beautiful Hale Reservation in Dover.

Camp Grossman is welcoming 700+ campers and over 250 staff this summer. The camp day runs from 8:00 AM -4:15 PM, Monday through Friday. Orientation occurs the week of June 21 and there are 3 staff meetings on various Monday evenings throughout the summer. Most counselors and staff also work 1 or 2 additional family nights or overnights, depending on their position in camp.
