Principal Responsibilities:
Position Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Sports Instructor to join our Camp Kulanu. The Sports Instructor will be responsible for planning and leading sports activities and lessons for early childhood campers ages 2-5. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in multiple sports, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a safe and inclusive environment for children to learn and have fun.
Minimum Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Lead structured, age-appropriate sports and movement activities for children ages 2-5.
- Teach basic motor skills such as running, jumping, throwing, and catching.
- Foster a fun and positive environment that builds confidence and social skills.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during sessions.
- Communicate effectively with program directors and counselors about class activities and child progress.
- Set up and clean up equipment before and after each session.
- Adapt activities to meet the needs of different skill levels and personalities.
- Encourage teamwork, listening skills, and good sportsmanship.
- This is a seasonal job once a week for 8 weeks of the summer (June 24-August 15)
- You'll receive a salary of $2,000 for the 8 weeks
- Hours: 9:00-12:15

Qualifications & Skills
- Experience working with young children in a coaching, teaching, or childcare setting.
- Background in sports, early childhood education, or physical education preferred.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with toddlers.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to maintain a safe and structured environment.
