Audrey Edwards | Wellness/Fitness Director
JCCs of Greater Boston
Fitness and health have been a central point of Audrey’s life since childhood when she was a competitive water skier and played competitive tennis - and she brings that life long passion to all she does at the JCC. What Audrey loves most about the JCC is the diversity of the membership. Whether helping a teen take control of their weight, a new mom striving to get back in shape or a senior working to retain balance and stability, Audrey is passionate about the positive effect exercise can have on people’s lives. And to ensure her members are always getting sound advice and education, she is equally passionate about her team. Each trainer is an expert in their given specialty, and all stay current on the latest fitness trends and ideas, but most important, Audrey hires people who truly want to help their members make positive, healthy changes in their lives. Audrey loves sharing remarkable stories of members who have taken control of their health and fitness – and she sees and hears those stories everyday at the JCC!
Audrey has been with the JCC since 1995. She is a certified personal trainer, certified Well Coach, certified Spin Instructor, trained STOTT pilates instructor, certified TRX trainer and certified functional training instructor.
Ann Johnson | Director of Health and Wellness
St. Paul JCC
My current position at the St. Paul JCC is Director of Health and Wellness. I attended the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities and graduated with a Masters of Education and a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. I have been working full time in Health and Fitness for the last 7 years and for the last 14 years in a part time capacity. I was an Aquatics Director and Athletic Director before I moved into my current role as Director of Health and Wellness. I have been working full time at the St. Paul JCC for 3 and a half years, but also worked at this JCC part time all through college. I love the feeling of community when I walk through the front doors and knowing that we as staff play a very large supportive role with members making health choices and finding life long activities they enjoy.
