Fara Gold is a camper at heart! For the past 14 years, her professional camp background includes Camp Director at Camp JCC in Rockville, MD; Program Director at Capital Camps; Associate Director at B’nai B’rith Perlman Camp and Travel Camp Director at the JCC in Orlando, Florida.  Fara acquired her Master’s degree in Human Resource Training and

Development while hiring “cast members” and creating training workshops for the Walt Disney World Company.  The skills and knowledge she gained while spending her first 5 professional years in corporate America were beyond valuable when she entered the non-profit world.  The training she has allows her to look at camp and youth group staff orientations from multiple perspectives. Since 2007, Fara has led the Camp, Youth and Teen Department of the JCC of Greater Washington.
